Type specimen: USNM 58368-71. Its type locality is 4V. Gordon Creek, 9.6 km from the South Fork of Flathead River, which is in a Delamaran marine shale in the Gordon Shale Formation of Montana.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

• Delamaran of Canada (1: Alberta collection), United States (1: Montana)
