Sister taxon: Vishnuonyx chinjiensis
Type specimen: SNSB-BSPG 2020 XCIV- 0301, a mandible (right hemimandible with p1 alveolus and complete p2–m1). Its type locality is Hammerschmiede HAM 4, which is in a Tortonian fluvial horizon in Germany.
Ecology: scansorial carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Hammerschmiede HAM 4
