Type specimen: CLGPR V00006-1, a partial skeleton (one dorsal vertebra, two caudal vertebrae, right scapula, right coracoid, left femur, left tibia, left fibula, one metatarsal, three pieces of dermal armor). Its type locality is Laojun Village, Pu’an Town, which is in a Bathonian/Callovian terrestrial siltstone/mudstone in the Shaximiao Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Laojun Village, Pu’an Town
