Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: FC-DPV 2869, a partial skull (fragment from the anterior part of a maxillopremaxillary rostrum). Its type locality is near Batoví Quarry, which is in a Kimmeridgian/Tithonian fluvial sandstone in the Tacuarembó Formation of Uruguay.

Ecology: volant piscivore
