Belongs to Cryptolepas according to V. A. Zullo 1961
Sister taxon: Cryptolepas rachianecti
Type specimen: UCMP 34676, an other (lateral compartmental plate). Its type locality is UCMP locality A-8677, which is in a Pleistocene marine horizon in Mexico.

Distribution:
