Sister taxa: Praesinomegaceros asiaticus, Praesinomegaceros venustus
Type specimen: PUPC 5-2-2010 (shed antler). Its type locality is Kurla Sharif 4, which is in a Pleistocene terrestrial sandstone in the Pinjor Formation of Pakistan.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution:
• Quaternary of Pakistan (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
