Type specimen: MLP 90-III-5-165, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Cerro Boleadoras, which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian fluvial horizon in the Cerro Boleadoras Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial herbivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Boleadoras
