Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: PIN 4890, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton lacking snout, anterior parts of the skull roof and of the cheek, and caudal fin). Its type locality is Abandoned Quarry, Preobrazhensky Village, which is in a Famennian marine sandstone in the Russian Federation.
