Sister taxon: Megaoptocoris similis

Type specimen: SYS-XLAB-MMR-HET-20018, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber (SYSU collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Burmese amber (SYSU collection)
