Sister taxa: Chrosiothes biconigerus, Chrosiothes curvispinosus, Chrosiothes emulgatus, Chrosiothes longispinosus, Chrosiothes monoceros, Chrosiothes tumulus, Chrosiothes unicornis
Type specimen: Patrick Müller Mex. B 2, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Mexican amber (Müller collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Mexican amber (Müller collection)
