Type specimen: MNfC-TA0949a, b, a partial skeleton ( articulated skeleton, without shoulder girdle and tail region). Its type locality is Chemnitz petrified forest (Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf), which is in a Sakmarian/Artinskian dry floodplain tuff in the Leukersdorf Formation of Germany.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at Chemnitz petrified forest (Chemnitz-Hilbersdorf)
