Sister taxa: Dipsalidictis aequidens, Dipsalidictis platypus, Dipsalidictis transiens
Type specimen: UM 69331, a partial skeleton (skull, left and right dentaries, and associated postcranial elements). Its type locality is Krause Quarry, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution:
• Clarkforkian of United States (7: Wyoming collections)
• Paleocene of United States (3: Wyoming)
Total: 10 collections each including a single occurrence
