Type specimen: IITR/SB/VLM 929, a mandible (left dentary with crowns for p4, m2 and m3, and posterior alveolus for p3 and alveoli for m1). Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine (IIT Roorkee collection), which is in a Ypresian marine siliciclastic in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore

Distribution: found only at Vastan Lignite Mine (IIT Roorkee collection)
