Sister taxa: Xanthopimpla biamosa, Xanthopimpla crescendae, Xanthopimpla messelensis, Xanthopimpla praeclara
Type specimen: FUR-10046, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Skive kommune, Silstrup member, which is in a Ypresian offshore ramp diatomite in the Fur Formation of Denmark.
