Type specimen: AMNH 6904, a mandible (anterior half of mandible). Its type locality is John Day (non-specific), which is in an Arikareean terrestrial horizon in the John Day Formation of Oregon.

• Harrisonian of United States (1: Wyoming collection)
• Arikareean of United States (2: Montana, Oregon)
