Type specimen: USNM 517608, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is USNM 41985, Split Mountain, Clayton Ridge, which is in a Delamaran offshore shelf lime mudstone/lime mudstone in the Emigrant Formation of Nevada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of United States (17: California, Nevada collections)

Total: 17 collections each including a single occurrence
