Type specimen: MNHN DEC.25, a partial skeleton (skull and anterior postcranium). Its type locality is Mine de la Decouverte, which is in a Stephanian C lagoonal sandstone in the Bourran Formation of France.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Mine de la Decouverte
