Belongs to Tichostephanus according to M. S. Engel 2019
Sister taxa: Tichostephanus kachinensis, Tichostephanus longus, Tichostephanus qinshubao, Tichostephanus yuchijingde
Type specimen: NIGP 170588, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Burmese amber, Kachin amber (NIGP collection)
