Sister taxon: Baurubatrachus pricei

Type specimen: MPMA 68-0002/11, a partial skeleton (Associated cranial andpostcranial elements preserved in a single sandstone block). Its type locality is Catanduva (MPMA), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Adamantina Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Catanduva (MPMA)
