Sister taxa: Bisacculoides grandis, Bisacculoides tabeoviscus

Type specimen: CPC 16925, thin section 73426013A, coordinates 11.0x125.0. Its type locality is MacArthur River Mine, borehole G20/25 WD, 59.9 m depth, which is in a Statherian basinal (siliciclastic) shale in the Barney Creek Formation of Australia.

Ecology: stationary "photoautotroph"
