Belongs to Maladioidella according to J. H. Shergold 1980

Sister taxa: Maladioidella hunanensis, Maladioidella laevigata, Maladioidella splendens

Type specimen: CPC 15266, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Lily Creek Section B54a, which is in an Iverian open shallow subtidal grainstone/lime mudstone in the Chatsworth Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cambrian of Australia (25 collections), Kazakhstan (14)

Total: 39 collections each including a single occurrence
