Type specimen: ROMIP 66233 (a nearly complete head and partial trunk). Its type locality is Tomlinson Quarry. Bed 3, which is in a Katian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Bobcaygeon Formation of Canada.
Distribution: found only at Tomlinson Quarry. Bed 3
