Type specimen: ELDM EL-J009, a partial skeleton (postcranial skeleton). Its type locality is Batuyingzi, Beipiao, which is in a Barremian/Aptian lacustrine - large shale in the Yixian Formation of China.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Batuyingzi, Beipiao
