Type specimen: Its type locality is Hessberger Quarry, Hildburghausen tracksite, which is in an Olenekian/Anisian terrestrial sandstone/claystone in the Chirotheriensandstein Formation of Germany

Distribution: found only at Hessberger Quarry, Hildburghausen tracksite
