Type specimen: JODA 16037, a partial skull. Its type locality is JDNM-8 Sheep Rock, which is in an Arikareean terrestrial claystone in the John Day Formation of Oregon.
Ecology: amphibious browser
Distribution: found only at JDNM-8 Sheep Rock
