Sister taxa: Multifissoolithus chianensis, Multifissoolithus megadermus

Type specimen: SAM-Z-2019001 and FPDM-V-9770, an egg. Its type locality is Ayaragi River, Shimonoseki, which is in an Aptian/Albian fluvial sandstone in the Sujigahama Formation of Japan.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Ayaragi River, Shimonoseki
