Type specimen: UA 2447, a maxilla. Its type locality is Trochu (KUA-1), which is in a Lancian terrestrial claystone/siltstone in the Scollard Formation of Canada.

Ecology: ground dwelling omnivore-frugivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Canada (7: Alberta, Saskatchewan collections), United States (20: Montana, North Dakota)
