Type specimen: M 1895, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Steeden, quarry at north-western margin of the town, which is in a Chadian carbonate limestone in the Erdbach Limestone Formation of Germany.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Steeden, quarry at north-western margin of the town
