Sister taxa: Spergenaspis mauvaisensis, Spergenaspis salemi

Type specimen: CMNH 34438, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Along bluffs of Missouri River 1.75 km northwest of Easley, which is in a Kinderhookian carbonate limestone in the Chouteau Formation of Missouri.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Along bluffs of Missouri River 1.75 km northwest of Easley
