Type specimen: ROM 45347, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Hedstroemia Assemblage at Prongs Creek, Yukon Territory, which is in a Ludlow deep subtidal shelf carbonate in the Road River Formation of Canada.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution:

• Silurian of Canada (2: Northwest Territories, Yukon collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
