Belongs to Chlupacula (Chlupacula) according to Hahn 1994
Sister taxon: Chlupacula (Chlupacula) xesta
Type specimen: B 1994/1/10, a cephalon/head (cranidium). Its type locality is Kronhof Graben, Carnic Alpes, 9 km east of the Plöcken pass, which is in a Hastarian carbonate limestone in the Kronhof Limestone Formation of Austria.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Kronhof Graben, Carnic Alpes, 9 km east of the Plöcken pass
