Type specimen: CM 45118. Its type locality is Easley, Boone County, Chouteau Group, Compton Limestone, which is in a Kinderhookian offshore shelf lime mudstone/wackestone in the Compton Limestone Formation of Missouri.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Easley, Boone County, Chouteau Group, Compton Limestone
