Type specimen: YPM IP 028154, a hindwing. Its type locality is 6 miles W of Whitehorse, which is in a Maastrichtian coastal sandstone in the Fox Hills Formation of South Dakota.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at 6 miles W of Whitehorse
