Sister taxa: Drymomyrmex claripennis, Drymomyrmex fuscipennis
Type specimen: SIZK DO-136, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Rovno amber, Osova, Dubrovitsa district (SIZK DO collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Ukraine.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Rovno amber, Osova, Dubrovitsa district (SIZK DO collection)
