Type specimen: PNRL 2243, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Céreste (PNR Luberon collection), which is in a MP 23 lacustrine carbonate in the Campagne-Calavon Formation of France.

Distribution: found only at Céreste (PNR Luberon collection)
