Type specimen: LSJU 778, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is LSJU-1034, Potter Creek, which is in a Roadian/Wordian deep-water shale in the Nosoni Formation of California.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at LSJU-1034, Potter Creek
