Type specimen: NHMUK R37356, a partial shell (almost complete and articulated shell). Its type locality is Near Indamane village, which is in a Maastrichtian coastal gypsum in the Farin-Doutchi Formation of Niger.
Ecology: amphibious omnivore
Distribution: found only at Near Indamane village
