Type specimen: MCF-PVPH-380, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Sierra del Portezuelo locality, c. 20 km west of Cutral-Có city, which is in a Turonian/Coniacian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Portezuelo Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Sierra del Portezuelo locality, c. 20 km west of Cutral-Có city
