Sister taxa: Supella (Nemosupella), Supella eocenica
Type specimen: Poinar O-2-43, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber, La Toca mine (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the La Toca Formation of the Dominican Republic.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at Dominican amber, La Toca mine (Poinar coll)
