Type specimen: CPAL.447, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is La Pimienta, Simojovel (Mexican amber, CPAL-UAEM collection), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.

Distribution: found only at La Pimienta, Simojovel (Mexican amber, CPAL-UAEM collection)
