Type specimen: SDSM 155929, 156085, a tooth. Its type locality is Arner Ranch ant mounds, which is in a Chadronian/Orellan terrestrial horizon in the Chadron Formation of Nebraska.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore

Distribution: found only at Arner Ranch ant mounds
