Type specimen: CIV-115, a shell. Its type locality is Buisse Ravine section, Arpavon (upper Crioceratites loryi zone), which is in a Hauterivian carbonate limestone in France.

Ecology: fast-moving nektonic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Buisse Ravine section, Arpavon (upper Crioceratites loryi zone)
