Type specimen: Museum of Paleontology of the Sapienza Università di Roma, MPUR/V4200a (right hemimandible with c1 and p2‒m2). Its type locality is Grotta dei Fiori, section C, which is in a Pleistocene/Pleistocene fissure fill siliciclastic in Italy.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Grotta dei Fiori, section C
