Type specimen: YLSNHM 01771,, a partial skull (anterior cranium). Its type locality is Xingjiawan Fauna, which is in a Miocene terrestrial mudstone in China.

Ecology: scansorial carnivore

Distribution: found only at Xingjiawan Fauna
