Type specimen: FCDPI 8259, a shell. Its type locality is P12, Quebracho, Paysandú Department, which is in a Maastrichtian pond limestone in the Queguay Formation of Uruguay.
Ecology: epifaunal
Distribution: found only at P12, Quebracho, Paysandú Department
