Type specimen: MUSM 3248, a partial skeleton (partial skeleton includ- ing 13 vertebrae (two tentatively referred to the last thoracics named here Th-a and Th-b and the others to the anterior lumbars named ). Its type locality is Zamaca, south, which is in a Bartonian marine horizon in the Paracas Formation of Peru.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Zamaca, south
