Belongs to Truncatella according to T. T. Yu et al. 2021
Sister taxon: Truncatella californica
Type specimen: NIGP168637, a shell. Its type locality is LK-1 borehole, Jiaolai Basin, 370.5 m, which is in a Maastrichtian lacustrine - small siltstone in the Jiaozhou Formation of China.
Ecology: epifaunal grazer
Distribution:
• Cretaceous of China (3 collections)
