Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: USNM PAL 639715, a partial skull (partial skull lacking the distal part of the rostrum, the supra- orbital processes, most of the squamosals, and the ear bones). Its type locality is Governor Run, Zone 24, which is in a Tortonian marine horizon in the St. Marys Formation of Maryland.

Ecology: aquatic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Governor Run, Zone 24
