Lusatisporis choiols Perez Loinaze et al. 2023

Lusatisporis

Derivation of name: In Aonikenkmythology, choiols means a track of a rhea in the sky, and is the name given to the Southern Cross (Lat. Crux) constellation, the smallest of the 88 recognized constellations, and an easily observable element in the Southern Hemisphere skies, often used in night orientation and navigation. The name is proposed in reference to the southern provenance of the taxon.
