Type specimen: FPDM-V-11311, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Kitadani Dinosaur Quarry (lower, BB I), which is in an Aptian fluvial sandstone/shale in the Kitadani Formation of Japan.

Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore-omnivore

Distribution: found only at Kitadani Dinosaur Quarry (lower, BB I)
